In
Quad Rugby, each player is assigned a number of points based on their level of
physical function. To keep the game fair, each team is allow to have a total of
eight points on the court at one time. These points are divided among four players.
The highest point value a single player is permitted to have is 3.5. This means
that a person would have much use of their hands, arms and torso. The lowest point
value a person can have and play is 0.5 -- this means that a person will not have
use of their torso muscles, and will have minimal use of their arms and upper
body. The cards pictured above are used to identify each player and their assigned
point level so that the tournament officials can certify that a team does not
exceed its point limit. |
