Josey Peterson had only lived in St. John's for a couple of years. She worked at Blue Moon Camera and Machine. She and Jake, the store's owner, have always made it a priority to be a positive and welcoming part of this community.

On the Saturday before Mother's day Josey suffered a terrible car accident. For three weeks she battled for her life, but was unable to recover from the extensive damage to her body. She died on May 28th.

Josey was one of those rare people that seemed to spread joy and comfort by her vary presence. Though I never got to know her as well as I would have liked, it is hard to imagine St. John's with out her.
