One of my favorite things about traveling in Northern Canada was getting to see
the aboriginal culture. The Inuit culture seemed much more in tact and more
prevalent than Native American Culture in the lower 48 states. Mush of the reason,
I'm sure, is that native people still out number Europeans in most of the Northern
Territories. In White Horse, the capitol of the Yukon, I got to be exposed to a lot
of Inuit music and stories during the story telling festival held there each summer. See yesterday's Photo of the Day Visit storyteller David Vanadia's daily update. Photo of the Day
