This is my favorite photo of a tree in Montana.  It is located on Mt Sentinel in Missoula.  I encountered it on the first and only time I climbed that mountain to the top.  A climb that has a 1900 foot rise from the valley floor to the summit.  It took me over three hours (2 up and one down) and my legs hurt for days.
