When I lived in Montana there was an old Catholic graveyard about two blocks away.  I used to go there a lot.  It was on a gentle slope, and when you were at the top, you could see all of Missoula.  I used to go there on the Fourth of July and watch the fireworks--you could see them going off all over the city.  Having graves dating back to pioneer days, there were many interesting stones and epitaphs.  This infrared  photo is of a family monument, one of the largest in the small cemetery.   The statue was life sized.
