When I lived in Montana there was an old Catholic graveyard about two blocks
away. I used to go there a lot. It was on a gentle slope, and when you were at
the top, you could see all of Missoula. I used to go there on the Fourth of July and
watch the fireworks--you could see them going off all over the city. Having graves
dating back to pioneer days, there were many interesting stones and epitaphs. This
infrared photo is of a family monument, one of the largest in the small cemetery.
