Though it has been feeling like Spring for a while, today it was really here.   Today it felt more like Summer.  This photo was taken during an afternoon walk.  The Earth feels bone dry and the sun was hot and strong.  I'm hoping that this is not a harbinger of a long, hot, dry Summer to come.  There are fears of drought, but things could get a lot better if we have our normal wet spring.  Though the warm weather is nice, I'm looking forward to the return of the rains.
