Ted, These are for you.
Today was St. Patrick's Day, and though I did not go out at all, I was thinking
back a few years to when I spent this day in Butte, Montana. St. Patrick's Day in
Butte is a bit like Mardi Gras in New Orleans--only smaller and grittier. In Butte,
public drinking is not only tolerated, it is legal--the last time I was there, there were
still not laws against having open containers. Any day of the week you could see
people walking around sipping beers--but on St. Patrick's day they really tie one on.
