I put this photo up because it is something of a rarity. Never before, and
never since has my camera synchronized with another person's flash. I was taking
this overhead shot of this wedding ceremony and one of the guests snapped a photo with
their point and shoot. My shutter just happened to be open during the 1000th of a
second that their flash was firing. What are the odds of that? Perhaps this is
a more common occurrence among photographers who shoot in large press pools with all their
cameras going at once. Generally, when I am working I am the only photographer on
