The last couple of summers I have been into photographing flowers.  Not in vases, like Maplethorp, but outside as they are growing.  I've not so much been interested in photographing fields, or landscapes, but more the individual form of one flower growing.  I have a lot of photos of sunflowers, but they seem kind of cliche, no?   This picture was taken on on Polaroid 669 film with an old Land Camera.  It's nice to look at this now that Winter is setting in.
