It seems that every photographer that makes it to New York needs to photograph the Flatiron Building. Steichen was the first, and his images are the most well known, especially this one. Stieglitz also captured some well known views of this structure. To the right is one of my first attempts to present a classical, yet somewhat original view this New York landmark. Next time I shoot it I'll use my view camera. December 3, 2000 |
